My Approach

My approach to therapy is grounded, paced, and supportive, offering a steady and collaborative space where we can reflect on your experiences, deepen self-understanding, and work toward meaningful change.

I take an integrative approach, and draw from several frameworks, including Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic Theory, Humanistic/Client-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness and Somatic-Based practices.

I have a particular interest in family and relational dynamics, both past and present, and how they shape our sense of identity, emotional patterns, and the ways we show up in relationships throughout life.

Prior to starting my practice, I worked for over 10 years in community settings, schools, and private agencies, offering individual and group support for mental health, family and relationship stress, and major life transitions. The range of my professional experience has shaped the compassionate curiosity that I bring into my sessions.

My practice focuses on supporting teens, parents, adults navigating family relationships, families across many stages of life, and individual adults and couples.
About Me
When I'm not working, I might be exploring the many markets, parks, and neighbourhood shops around the city. In the summers I love to go on multi-day canoe trips in Northern Ontario, and I'll take any opportunity for a long walk or bike ride any time of year. My two cats, Rumi and Pippin, can make staying home on a rainy day equally appealing!

Before moving to Toronto, I spent many years living on Vancouver Island and have always felt a strong connection to nature. Spending time outdoors, staying physically active, and tending to friendships and hobbies are important ways I support my own well-being, along with my own personal therapy.

I'm always curious to learn about what brings enjoyment and meaning to the lives of the people I work with, and how those parts of life can be nurtured and protected.
